I just made my Winn2K8 box a router running RIP and it also shares my internet connection and provides DHCP and DNS to my internal network. Why would I do this? Cuz my D-Link Wireless router died. Just up and croaked. It was fairly new too. I was checking out some cool programs like wireshark and some cool commands like "route" in cygwin. Here's a sample command:
